Dallas, Georgia is a small town northwest of Atlanta, and Ovexik isn’t a shop on its square: it’s an online shelf run from an office in town, with the books themselves in a distribution partner’s warehouse, and the desk would rather explain that before an order than after.

Who’s behind the name

Ovexik is the trading name of TEARA NAJEA WRIGHT FUNY LLC, Employer Identification Number 99-4760886, registered office at 206 Arbor Creek Dr, Dallas, GA 30157. The company is seller of record on every order, and Teara Najea Wright is its representative. The people who read contact@ovexik.com sit in that office, and they’re the same people who issue refunds, so a question doesn’t pass through a ticket queue before someone with authority reads it.

What this shop isn’t

A bookstore with a front door: nowhere in Dallas can a customer walk in and browse. A warehouse: the office keeps records, not stock, and has no way to receive a package. A marketplace: one company sells every listing under one set of rules. A children’s bookshop: the comics section skews young, the thrillers are for adults, the cookbooks are for whoever cooks. It’s a general shelf, and the age rating on each comics listing is there so buyers can choose.

What’s on the shelf right now

On Sept. 26, 2026: 45 new books from 28 publishers, in three sections. Comics & Graphic Novels holds 13 titles, from Viz and Kodansha manga to middle-grade graphic novels. Cookbooks, Food & Wine holds 16: everyday cooking and baking. Mystery & Thrillers holds 16: this season’s crime and suspense. 28 paperbacks, 17 hardcovers. Prices run $8.24 to $29.24, with $13.32 in the middle. Every copy is new and sealed where the publisher seals it. Every listing carries the ISBN-13, the publisher’s edition data and a summary written for this shop rather than copied from the publisher.

The catch, spelled out

Two catches. First: most single titles cost less than $49.00, so a one-book order pays $4.90 for delivery. Free delivery is real, and it’s for a cart of two or three books. Second: because the stock sits in a partner’s warehouse rather than a back room, nobody at the desk can hand-check a copy before it ships. What can be checked is the ISBN, the format and the publisher’s data against the copy the partner holds, and any book can come back, for any reason, inside 30 days.

How an order moves

  1. An order before 4:30 PM ET on a weekday goes on that day’s packing list at the partner’s warehouse in the United States.
  2. The warehouse pulls the copy with the matching ISBN, looks it over and boxes it inside 1-2 weekdays.
  3. USPS or UPS carries it for 5-6 weekdays; door to door, 6-8 weekdays from the list.
  4. Anything wrong, the customer emails the desk, and the person reading it can issue the refund.

Returns travel to the partner’s warehouse as well, which is why the return address arrives with the return number instead of sitting in the footer.

The rules before I order

Shipping Policy: the delivery area and the times. Refund and Returns Policy: the 30 days and the steps. Payment Policy: cards and PayPal. Contact: every way to reach the desk.

What’s coming to the shelf next

A fourth section arrives when it can meet the same bar as the first three: an ISBN traced to a copy in the partner’s warehouse for every title, and a summary written for this shop, not the publisher’s blurb. Literary fiction is the likely candidate. The day it opens, this page says so, with the new count.

A line from Teara Najea Wright

I’m Teara Najea Wright, the representative of TEARA NAJEA WRIGHT FUNY LLC, the company behind Ovexik. Two things I’d rather you heard from me than found out after ordering.

The first: the books don’t sit in Dallas. They sit in a distribution partner’s warehouse in the United States, which is why the estimate on every listing says 6-8 weekdays and not a faster number I couldn’t keep. The second: the desk is small on purpose. When you write to contact@ovexik.com about a late package or a book you’ve changed your mind about, the reply comes inside one business day from someone who can act on the order, not just log it. Delivery at $4.90 or free from $49.00, 30 days to send any book back, money back inside 7 weekdays of the check: those are the figures I put my name to.

Three shelves is what we can check properly today. If a fourth opens, this page will say so before the shop does, and I’ll have signed off on it.
